Privacy Policy

This page explains what LocalLens stores, how cookies and consent work on public pages, and how email, billing, and support communication fit into the service.

Account data

Workspace identity, saved reports, billing state, and email settings stay tied to your LocalLens account.

Consent-aware public pages

Optional analytics and advertising storage stay off until a visitor accepts them through the consent controls.

Ad-free app workspace

The logged-in product stays focused on the work. If ads ever exist, they belong on public content only.

Account and workspace data

LocalLens stores the account details needed to sign you in, verify your email, save workspace defaults, route notifications, and keep billing state in sync. Saved scans, exports, notes, and campaign history stay attached to the workspace they belong to.

Cookies, sessions, and consent

LocalLens uses essential cookies and similar storage for sign-in, session security, and basic site behavior. Public pages can also use consent-controlled signals for analytics or future advertising support. The consent banner is designed so optional analytics and advertising storage stay off unless the visitor allows them.

Analytics and performance measurement

We may measure how public pages perform so we can improve content quality, layout clarity, and technical performance. When Google tags are used, we can pass consent choices into Google Consent Mode and later replace the in-house banner with a certified CMP if EEA, UK, or Switzerland ad consent requirements apply.

Advertising disclosure

The logged-in LocalLens workspace is intended to stay ad-free. If display advertising is ever added, it should stay on public marketing, documentation, or help content only. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve or measure ads based on a user's visits to this or other sites. Users can manage consent choices through the site banner and, where available, through vendor opt-out tools.

Email, billing, and support

LocalLens can send verification emails, password resets, scan updates, billing notices, alerts, support confirmations, and optional product updates. The signup email is used as the initial notification email unless the user changes it later in account settings.

Retention and account requests

We keep the data needed to operate the service, honor billing and support obligations, and preserve saved reporting history until an account or workspace is removed. If you need help with account access, notification settings, or data questions, contact support through the support page or by email.
